4oz 125g pasta/ macaroni.
1/2 tsp mustard powder.
1oz 25g margarine.
1/2 pt milk.
6oz 225g cheese grated. 1 oz for topping.
fresh ground pepper.
1. Bring to boil pan of water add salt. Add pasta and cook for 10 minutes, drain rinse with fresh boiled water.
2. Place margarine in dry pan and melt, add flour stir with wooden spoon until it comes into a ball, add milk little at time stirring using either butterfly whisk or balloon whisk, add mustard and pepper.
3. Add cheese stir until melted into sauce. Add pasta stir in and place into oven proof/ Pyrex dish add 1oz grated cheese, place under pre-heated grill for 5-7 minutes until cheese melted and turned light brown, serve on warm plates.
